Around this time every month (except December) I am thinking of preparing my groundbreaking e-newsletter explaining to constituents what I have been doing on their behalf.

Unlike my traditional newsletters which are distributed 3 or 4 times a year to every door in the ward an e-newsletter can only go to those who request one. I have been really pleased with the sign-up so far but if you haven’t yet signed up and live in Boothen & Oak Hill ward please take this opportunity.

It is possible that we shall still be on some form of lockdown for many months. This May we have important local elections for the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner. How voting will take place has not yet been finalised but I know a lot of people may not feel safe queuing up to go to a polling booth. Therefore, we say:-

Vote Safely, Vote Early, Vote Labour
