• Daal and bread from Tiffin & Chai
  • Wednesday food

    Freshly made Indian street food.

Since they opened they have become one of the most popular stalls on the market. Their fresh, homemade Indian street food has drawn new customers into the market.

Christmas was a particularly busy time for Sugar and her team in their first year on the market with queues down the aisle. Today, Sugar serves customers with shashlick, biryani, curry, samosas, breads and other types of lovely food. Of course, don’t forget a cup of chai – the famous Indian sweetened tea.

They mainly do takeaway but have a small seating area. Sugar tells me that their food is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.

They are open every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday during market hours but don’t be late as they do sell out. (I was too late for curry last Wednesday!)

There are several other new stalls on Stoke Indoor Market which I shall feature over the coming weeks, however, I shall not forget our stalwarts some who have stood on our market for many years.
