Cllr Andy Platt Standing up for Boothen, Penkhull, Stoke and West End
I was on Stoke Market last week and it was buzzing.
Several new businesses have started since lockdown and activity was everywhere.
What surprised me was to come across this group from the World Wide fund for Nature. They were spreading the word about the importance of local food and the threats of trade deals allowing terrible food standards into Britain.
We need local food that is good, wholesome and traceable.
-
Say no to chlorinated chicken;
-
hormone and antibiotic treated beef;
-
crops treated with banned pesticides and
-
other terrible food standards!
