The very latest on the River Trent diversion.

It very much seems that, heavy rainfall allowing, that the river will be switched to its new course tomorrow morning (Friday 30th October 2020) at about 9 am.

Having been on the campaign to naturalise the river for well over 10 years I want to experience the turn of flow from every angle. Of course, that is not possible. However, if you are on site tomorrow, either at the North end by Whieldon Road or the South end off Boothen Old Road please take some snaps or even video that you are willing to share with me.
