PCC election

012_PCC_Flyer.JPGOn the Thursday 5th May we go to the polls to elect a new Police and Crime Commissioner.  Labour's candidate, George Adamson, is committed to keeping local Bobbies on the beat.  He served as a police officer for 17 years and knows how the service works and the issue it faces daily.

The current Tory PCC spends £1.2m on his private office but George wants to protect frontline policing instead.  He wants to ensure victims are supported to the highest standard and keep PCC office costs low.011_PCC_with_JC.JPG

The Tory cuts to frontline policing are frightening.  We used to have 2 PCs supported by one PCSO in our ward.  Today we only have 2 PCSOs - with limited powers.  Our police station has been shut and soon the sergeant who manages our area will lose his job.  This has been a disaster for Stoke and policing.

However, to change this we all need to go out and vote on May 5th.

Vote Labour, Vote George Adamson on 5th May.
